The CenterPoint Legacy Theatre in Centerville is holding their third annual Fairytale Festival on September 11th and 12th. We are excited to have been selected at their charity of choice for this year’s event.
From their website:
Come meet your favorite fairytale characters from roughish pirates, to adventurous princesses! Enjoy fantastic foods from around Utah including snow ice, pizza and sweet treats, as well as live entertainment, craft and activity booths, balloon animals, a bouncy castle, and much, much more! Popular events this year include a Story Time in the Great Hall where children can interact with favorite fairytale characters, puppet shows at the Puppet Palace , Pirate Minute to Win it Games and most notably a Father Daughter Ever After Ball which will be held at 7:00 pm on September 12th. There will also be a Wishing Well station where children can send “well wishes” to children recovering from cancer, as well as a Locks of Love booth where young and young-at-heart Rapunzels can donate their locks and/or have a princess make-over! You won’t want to miss the “Once Upon a Time Partici-play”, the Tooth Fairy Booth, Balloon Magic or amazing Fairytale entertainment provided every 30 minutes in the outdoor amphitheater of the CenterPoint Castle.
Food trucks from around the land will be present to feed your lords and ladies. Feel free to stop by on Friday afternoon for our kick off party featuring the top food trucks in the valley and return Saturday for some more!
Enroll your little lords and ladies for princess training in the Princess Tea Party where they will learn how to be a “real” princess, at Knights in Chivalry Training where they will be trained to be knights worthy of King Arthur’s noble court as they prepare for the “Tournament of Knights” or for the Captain Hook Scalawag School where they will be tutored in the lost art of piracy!
Admittance to the festival is FREE, as are many of the activities! Some craft booths have a fee and there is a fee for events such as the Princess Tea Party, Knight’s Training, Capt. Hook Scalawag School and Father Daughter Ball.
All the details about the Fairytale Festival and registration for the individual events that require it can be found on their website.
